Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Manager within a high-growth company, preferably in a technically complex B2B environment.
- Demonstrated experience owning products from strategy and discovery through delivery and adoption.
- Strong technical depth and ability to contribute to architecture, APIs, and software design.
- Proficiency with Cursor and/or Claude Code to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code or prototypes.
- Strong product judgment with ability to make effective strategic prioritization and tactical execution decisions.
- Experience designing or managing API products, integrations, developer experiences, and API contracts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document complex product decisions.
- Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, asynchronous environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the product area end to end, including product strategy, technical direction, delivery, adoption, and ongoing customer and internal-team experience.
- Partner closely with Engineering Team Leads and Staff Engineers on architecture, design quality, technical decisions, and long-term product direction.
- Build and test prototypes or functional code to de-risk ideas, answer open questions, validate assumptions, and ship smaller solutions directly.
- Own API products and integration experiences, including API contracts, versioning, backwards compatibility, reliability, and developer experience.
- Work directly with operational specialists to understand real workflows and identify the root causes of recurring problems.
- Prioritize product improvements based on measurable customer and operational pain points.
- Collaborate across business operations, sales, engineering, payroll, and tax departments.
- Document product decisions, technical reasoning, proposals, and specifications clearly in writing.
