Requirements
- Extensive experience building and architecting production software systems at scale.
- Significant depth in AI/ML systems and hands-on experience building production systems using LLMs.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, model serving, and infrastructure for reliable AI at scale.
- Proven experience designing evaluation frameworks, guardrails, or quality systems for AI.
- Track record of setting technical architecture and standards across teams.
- Strong command of a major programming language such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with modern cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with agentic systems and hardening autonomous AI agents.
- Depth in the modern AI stack, including RAG, vector stores, agent frameworks, and model orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Set the technical architecture and direction for AI systems across the platform, including model serving, LLM-powered features, and agentic workflows.
- Design production-grade, reliable, and observable systems utilizing non-deterministic AI components.
- Architect evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and quality systems to ensure AI safety and trustworthiness at enterprise scale.
- Lead complex AI engineering problems from research-adjacent prototyping through production delivery.
- Establish engineering standards and best practices for AI-native systems while mentoring senior engineers.
