Requirements

- Working proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for native illustration.
- Ability to match and extend an existing art style.
- Ability to follow written and verbal creative direction.
- Strong reliability in meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects.
- Experience preparing print or production files to specification.
- Familiarity with children's, educational, or consumer-product design.
- Comfort using lightweight project management tools like Notion or ClickUp.
- Ability to manage file organization effectively.
Responsibilities
- Create new artwork and complete sets in established brand style across product lines.
- Illustrate original characters, motifs, patterns, and scenes with a kid-friendly aesthetic.
- Translate concepts and creative direction from the Chief Creative Officer into finished, production-ready designs.
- Carry design projects from initial handoff through to final build-out independently.
- Prepare print and production files to specification.
- Build mockups and product previews for listings.
- Maintain style consistency across the full product set and update style references as the catalog grows.
