Requirements
- 0 to 2 years of hands-on SEO experience across technical, content, or local SEO.
- Basic familiarity with WordPress, including navigation and common SEO plugins like Yoast or RankMath.
- Working knowledge of at least one major SEO tool such as Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console.
- Understanding of core SEO concepts including keyword research, on-page optimization, and local search fundamentals.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage tasks across multiple client accounts.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills for internal documentation and collaboration.
- Self-directed and comfortable working remotely within a defined workflow.
Responsibilities
- Support technical SEO audits and assist with implementing fixes like redirects, canonicalization, and structured data in WordPress.
- Monitor site health using tools such as Screaming Frog, Semrush, and Google Search Console.
- Conduct keyword research and produce content briefs for writers.
- Audit and optimize existing on-page content for relevance and search intent.
- Manage Google Business Profile optimization and citation building for local SEO.
- Track keyword performance benchmarks and report findings to senior team members.
- Manage tasks, budgets, and communication with strategists using Asana.
