Requirements
- 4-7 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong Android development experience using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Strong backend development experience using Go or Java.
- Experience with Spring Boot for Java or common Go web/service frameworks.
- Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Good understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL databases, and Redis.
- Exposure to Kafka or similar messaging/event-streaming technologies.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience developing applications for Android TV or Fire TV is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Android / Fire TV applications and supporting backend services.
- Build Android features using Kotlin/Java with a focus on performance, reliability and user experience.
- Develop scalable backend services using Go or Java.
- Build and integrate APIs supporting subscriptions, payments and entitlement workflows.
- Implement Fire TV In-App Purchase (IAP) flows including purchases, renewals, cancellations and entitlement synchronization.
- Design systems to support high concurrency and large traffic spikes, particularly during live sports.
- Implement monitoring, logging and observability across mobile/TV and backend systems.
