Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Ability to oversee and review corporate accounting functions
- Proficiency in complex financial modeling
- Solid understanding of accounting compliance requirements and policy management
- High proficiency in Excel, specifically Pivot Tables, Data Tables, formulas, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, and XIRR
- Process and detail-oriented
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Dedicated workspace and reliable, high-speed internet
Responsibilities
- Provide clients with the highest level of accounting support
- Exhibit an extensive understanding of accounting practices
- Direct all accounting functions, including payroll, account receivables/collections, expense processing, taxes, and revenue recognition and reporting
- Manage communication with clients and identify opportunities to improve their bottom line
- Oversee overall fiscal operations, including directing internal accounting programs and procedures
- Provide ongoing financial analysis to company leaders in support of business decisions
- Ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements
- Collaborate with the Accounting Operations team on technical accounting challenges
