Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification in Radiology.
- Fellowship training or significant expertise in Neuroradiology.
- Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
- Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience in radiology or neuroradiology.
- Expertise in MRI and CT interpretation of the brain, spine, and head and neck.
- Expertise in cerebrovascular and neurovascular imaging.
- Ability to attend all required orientation and training sessions.
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to communicate findings clearly and objectively in written form.
- Ability to provide concise, well-supported, evidence-based clinical opinions.
Responsibilities
- Review medical records, radiology reports, and relevant neuroimaging documentation.
- Prepare clear and concise clinical summaries.
- Respond to specific client questions regarding neuroradiologic findings, diagnoses, and imaging appropriateness.
- Perform advisory medical record reviews without peer-to-peer discussions or direct patient care.
- Maintain high standards of clinical judgment for objective and defensible medical determinations.
