Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or comparable role.
- Strong commercial experience with Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with dbt.
- Experience working with Snowflake.
- Experience working with large datasets, data preparation, and data quality.
- Ability to independently solve complex and ambiguous technical problems.
- Experience translating business or product requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to build prototypes and validate new analytical approaches quickly.
- Experience with Git/GitHub.
- High level of autonomy, ownership, and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical approach for extracting, analysing, and scoring trend signals and hashtags from social platforms.
- Evaluate new social data sources and assess their potential value.
- Define, validate, and improve analytical metrics.
- Build prototype data pipelines and analytical experiences to validate new approaches.
- Translate ambiguous business and product requirements into clear technical plans.
- Clean and prepare large datasets while ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Build automated tests into data pipelines to improve reliability.
- Document processes and maintain work in Jira.
