Requirements
- Demonstrated senior-level experience in platform engineering or DevOps at scale or in multi-tenant environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.
- Expertise in Linux systems: setup, tuning, troubleshooting, and hardening.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) projects using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or CDK.
- Proven experience operating EKS/AKS (upgrades, networking, troubleshooting).
- Experience managing production-grade NGINX, MariaDB/Galera, Redis/Memcached, and Elasticsearch.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
- Experience building and tuning CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar tools.
- Strong grasp of modern observability tooling and security best practices.
- Ability to communicate clearly, write documentation, and work with clients.
- Availability for a 24/7 support rotation.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage highly available environments across AWS and Azure.
- Lead production Kubernetes workloads in EKS/AKS including upgrades, networking, and autoscaling.
- Configure and troubleshoot Linux core services like NGINX, MariaDB, and Redis.
- Build and tune pipelines in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Replace repetitive operational work with robust Python and Bash scripting.
- Evolve monitoring across metrics, logs, and traces, and participate in incident response and 24/7 on-call rotation.
