Requirements
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes at scale
- Mastery of ArgoCD or a similar GitOps tool
- Solid understanding of GitOps, SRE, and DevOps principles
- Demonstrable knowledge of Kubernetes inner-workings, components, networking, and storage
- Experience working with and architecting cloud-native applications
- Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration tasks
- Experience with containerized application packaging and deployment
- Scripting skills in Shell and/or Python
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling
- Good communication skills in English
Responsibilities
- Automate deployment, management, patching, and deletion of Kubernetes clusters across Leaseweb's compute offerings
- Architect, explore, evaluate, integrate and tune Kubernetes components
- Build and tune alerting & observability, including dashboards, alerts, and metrics
- Maintain the platform by deploying new Kubernetes versions and updating components
- Investigate production issues, troubleshoot, and create permanent fixes
- Design new features for Leaseweb's customers
- Support customers and internal development teams
- Participate in regular on-call duty (Engineer on Duty)
- Share Kubernetes expertise and mentor colleagues
- Align team solutions with department architecture standards
