Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in mortgage processing, lending, or financial services.
- Required: Experience with Australian lenders and mortgage products.
- Familiarity with broker systems and loan platforms such as Mercury and ApplyOnline.
- Strong understanding of loan structures, banking, and finance principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
- Exceptional communicator with articulate, polished, and personable written and verbal skills.
Responsibilities
- Verify and review client income documentation, credit reports, and supporting information.
- Order and track property valuations, pricing, and other lender-related requirements.
- Complete servicing calculators and prepare product comparisons.
- Structure funding positions and assess client living expenses.
- Calculate borrowing capacity and assist in preparing compliance documents.
- Manage files through all stages — from pre-assessment to settlement.
- Liaise with clients to collect missing documents and communicate with lenders and solicitors.
- Maintain professional communication with brokers, lenders, and clients regarding application status.
- Update CRM systems, client records, and internal trackers.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and pipeline updates for management.
