Requirements
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
- Prior pre-sales experience.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures.
- Strong knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
- Proficiency with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
- Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
- Understanding of Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, and Provisioning Automation.
- BS in CS, EE, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop an exhaustive understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making processes.
- Connect technology solutions to measurable business outcomes for Enterprise and government clients.
- Partner with account managers and channel partners to develop sales strategy and drive revenue growth.
- Lead technical evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations for prospective clients.
- Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations.
- Author responses to RFIs and RFPs.
- Translate customer business needs into innovative data storage solutions.
- Liaise with product and technical marketing to produce whitepapers and sales materials.
