Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data-focused roles.
- Expert-level SQL skills with experience mining large datasets for inconsistencies.
- Proven experience working with complex, multi-table environments at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to design data quality test plans for aggregate data.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills in ambiguous data scenarios.
- Experience collaborating directly with Engineering and Data Science teams.
- Strong project management skills with accountability for business outcomes.
- Customer-facing experience translating client requirements into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in DBT, YAML, Regex, and Excel.
- Experience with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in Looker, Redash, and Git.
- Knowledge of Python, pandas, or PySpark is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor data quality across the pipeline and develop scalable test plans for aggregate validation.
- Perform hypothesis testing to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Conduct root-cause investigations and implement preventive measures.
- Manage end-to-end data product releases to ensure accuracy, reliability, and timeliness.
- Lead cross-functional project squads across concurrent deadlines.
- Communicate project action plans and timelines directly to external clients.
- Serve as the DRI for data coverage expansion initiatives from scoping to delivery.
- Partner with commercial teams to develop data-driven solutions based on client usage.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to address technical feasibility gaps.
