Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2 years of backend software engineering experience, primarily in PHP production environments.
- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience building and maintaining backend systems and service integrations.
- Proficiency in secure API design and authentication/authorization concepts.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments.
- Ability to debug, optimize, and deliver reliable solutions.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Upper-intermediate English level (C1).
- Ability to overlap with Western European Time.
- Ability to assist in emergency situations during weekend migrations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems, APIs, and integrations supporting company products and distributed services.
- Write clean, modular, and testable code in PHP and complementary technologies.
- Contribute to distributed systems and microservices supporting scalability and reliability.
- Apply OOP principles and architectural patterns to ensure extensibility.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
- Conduct debugging, profiling, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, and Support teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, including API specifications.
