Requirements
- Active, unrestricted South Carolina medical license (MD or DO).
- Principal practice location physically based in South Carolina.
- Residency within the state of South Carolina.
- Prior experience with NP/APRN collaborative or supervisory relationships preferred.
- Comfortable working in a remote/asynchronous consultation model.
Responsibilities
- Serve as collaborating physician of record under a written nurse protocol agreement filed with the South Carolina Medical Board.
- Co-sign NP clinical notes and charts according to protocol agreement schedules.
- Participate in regular collaboration meetings to review cases, care patterns, and quality concerns.
- Conduct periodic required clinical chart and record reviews.
- Provide clinical consultation to the nurse practitioner team.
