- Experience
- Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted NP license.
- Current ANCC or AANP board certification (FNP, AGNP/AGPCNP, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience managing obesity, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, or related conditions.
- Prior telehealth prescribing experience in weight management or metabolic health.
- Proficiency with EMR platforms.
- Willingness to practice under a collaborative physician agreement where required.
- Availability of at least 10 patient-facing hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct synchronous telehealth evaluations for new GLP-1 patients.
- Prescribe and titrate FDA-approved GLP-1 medications for weight management.
- Manage follow-up visits, dose titration, side effect counseling, and lab review.
- Review RD care summaries and lifestyle modification history in clinical notes.
- Respond to prior authorization appeals requiring clinical input within 48 hours.
- Participate in Medical Director-led clinical reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
