Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheet software.
- Solid organizational and attention-to-detail abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and contribute in a cross-functional team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting operations.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Interest in improving processes and enhancing internal controls.
- SaaS or tech industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute core accounting processes from start to finish including data sets, cash reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Support the team in ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Document existing workflows and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency.
- Maintain fixed asset and prepaid schedules, prepare accruals, and perform cash reconciliations for month-end close.
- Maintain and improve SOX compliance through documentation and testing.
- Prepare client support and communicate with the external Big 4 audit team.
