Requirements
- Ability to volunteer 10-15 hours per week.
- Minimum commitment of 12 months.
- 1 year or more of program or project management experience.
- 1 year of work experience in financial aid and/or scholarship administration.
- 1 year of work experience in public health, public service, or community-focused role (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills (encouragement, optimism, compassion, empathy, resilience).
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
- Experience leading non-profit programs (plus).
- Proactive attitude for remote collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Review scholar applications and provide scores.
- Assist Scholar Board with selecting winners.
- Invite winners to the internship program.
- Follow scholar winners to track their progress and perform check-ins.
- Track impact stats and share monthly reports with the community.
- Highlight scholar stories and coordinate with families, donors, and marketing/video teams.
- Maintain website stats and publicly shared data.
- Partner with organizations, scholarship communities, and colleges/universities to further program impact.
