Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant experience.
- 8+ years of experience in full-stack, product, application, cloud, DevSecOps, or infrastructure security.
- 5+ years of experience working with AI, machine learning, LLM, or GenAI-enabled systems.
- Proven experience conducting threat modeling, secure design reviews, and risk assessments for distributed systems.
- Strong hands-on experience securing AWS environments, including IAM, networking, and secrets management.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, container security, and software supply chain risk.
- Knowledge of AI-specific security risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, and insecure tool use.
- Ability to translate security risks into practical engineering requirements and compensating controls.
- Experience evaluating third-party SaaS platforms and developer tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for influencing cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and product teams to embed security into AI-enabled products, internal applications, APIs, and platforms.
- Lead threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and risk assessments for LLM applications, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
- Define and implement secure AI engineering patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures.
- Strengthen AWS-native infrastructure, CI/CD environments, and software supply chain controls.
- Improve AI-related detection, observability, telemetry, and incident response capabilities.
- Evaluate third-party AI platforms, model providers, and developer tools for security and operational risks.
- Develop security guidance and training to enable safe AI adoption across the organization.
- Drive cross-functional security-by-design initiatives and influence architectural decisions.
