Job Details

Experience: Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in database management, relational database administration and experience working with and manipulating datasets.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM discipline, or four additional years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in SQL query and/or SAS programming.
Experience with commercial data reporting tools.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Experience working with research datasets (preferred).
Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) (preferred).
JSON/XML import/export experience (preferred).
Experience in a comprehensive cancer center, cooperative group, or pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry (preferred).

Maintain data extraction, consolidation, and reporting processes across multiple databases for clinical trial requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain study-specific reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Develop and maintain computer programs to generate consolidated data for reporting and analysis.
Collaborate with Research Coordinators to develop data-timeliness reporting programs.
Provide database support and technical guidance to Data Operations staff, including sample SQL queries.
Perform database administration, maintenance, and optimization tasks for reporting-related structures.
Track task assignments using internal request tracking and project management systems.
