Requirements
- Prior experience building and shipping complex customer facing applications at scale.
- Strong experience with modern React and Next.js.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing / feature-flag platforms (Statsig, LaunchDarkly, or similar) and experiment instrumentation.
- Experience with web analytics and telemetry tools (Segment, Datadog RUM, or similar) and using data to drive engineering decisions.
- Experience working with CMS-driven sites (Contentful or similar).
- Passion for shipping world-class products for our users.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to experiment with, test, and learn new technologies.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and quickly evolving priorities.
- Natural leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
- Advanced level of English.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert in modern frontend technologies, including React and Next.js, with a strong focus on architecture and performance.
- Mentor and educate developers on clean code methodologies through knowledge sharing and PR reviews.
- Work cross-functionally (Product, Design, and Data) to develop and deploy applications and features on time with high quality.
- Design and uphold the technical standard for A/B experiments on acquisition surfaces (feature gates, exposure logging, tracking integrity).
- Drive observability and performance as first-class concerns: RUM instrumentation, funnel-step metrics, and cross-device/browser quality.
- Lead complex integrations with backend platform services (auth, pricing, promotions) as we evolve our platform.
- Implement best practices to enable the team to ship quality code faster.
- Support the on-call rotation to help the business run 24/7.
