Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in public policy, government relations, or legislative affairs.
- Experience on Capitol Hill, at a trade association, or in a regulated fintech/financial services environment.
- Working knowledge of federal legislative and regulatory processes, particularly related to financial services or identity.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with bipartisan credibility.
- Ability to build working relationships across the aisle in both the House and Senate.
- Excellent writing ability, including drafting comment letters, testimony, and briefing memos.
- Strong public speaking ability for representing SentiLink on panels or with policymakers.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data.
- Proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
- Genuine interest in developing subject-matter depth in fraud, identity, privacy, and data policy.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day federal advocacy, building and maintaining relationships across Congressional offices in both parties and chambers.
- Direct SentiLink’s bench of contracted federal and state lobbyists and consultants.
- Serve as a trusted resource on policy issues affecting identity verification, fraud prevention, and financial services, supporting Public Sector sales cycles.
- Lead engagement with trade associations and coalitions, managing SentiLink’s participation.
- Build a state-level ability to monitor and report on state legislative and regulatory developments related to data brokers, privacy, and identity.
- Prepare briefing materials and talking points for internal and external stakeholders and represent SentiLink in meetings, hearings, and industry events.
