Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in the transmission field of designing/managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure.
- Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95.
- Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
- Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
- Lead and/or support the initial project execution layout to ensure an efficient and effective project plan has been established.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a project schedule.
- Conduct weekly or bi-weekly project meetings to outline upcoming deliverables and tasks.
- Coordinate with clients on project status and support project meetings as necessary.
- Maintain project workflow and communication across multi-disciplinary projects.
- Forecast upcoming project requirements to assist in resource planning.
- Facilitate and adhere to QA/QC procedures.
