Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
- Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with deployment automation and tested rollback paths.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch).
- Experience with load testing (k6) and operating against latency SLOs and error budgets.
- Security-first mindset (vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance/hardening).
- Ability to overlap US business hours.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services like ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, and S3.
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Conduct load testing and maintain services against latency SLOs and error budgets.
- Perform incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
- Support SOC 2 audit evidence collection and client security reviews.
- Manage production database operations, including failovers, read replicas, and schema migrations.
