Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
- Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including failover and replication.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with robust rollback paths.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools like OpenTelemetry or CloudWatch.
- Experience with load testing (e.g., k6) and managing latency SLOs.
- Background in security practices including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and audit support.
- Proven experience with incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to overlap US business hours.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, and networking components.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated deployment and rollback strategies.
- Implement and monitor observability, logging, and performance testing to meet SLOs and error budgets.
- Execute security hardening, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management practices.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.
- Support SOC 2 compliance audits and provide necessary documentation.
