Requirements
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience focused on Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven experience executing cloud migrations including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or refactoring.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with a preference for Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes/GKE.
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Interim TS security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage GCP foundational components including BigQuery, Secret Manager, Vertex AI, VPCs, Cloud Storage, and Cloud IAM.
- Execute large scale data migrations to GCP using migration tools such as Migrate for Compute Engine.
- Implement secure cloud architectures that comply with federal cloud computing security requirements and Zero Trust principles.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance to ensure system reliability.
- Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize cloud costs.
