Requirements
- At least 5 - 7 years of experience as a Backend developer, ideally within a scaling business
- Demonstrable proficiency in Python
- Strong understanding of software architecture, microservices and ideally event-driven architecture
- Appreciation of the challenges regarding building adaptive and responsive websites
- Ability to solve problems in a structured way
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in a lucid, structured fashion
- Team player, self-motivated, with effective planning and prioritization skills
- Experience working as part of an Agile development team
Responsibilities
- Add features to current customer and campsite-focussed sites using Python
- Work with team members and Product Owner to scope and implement backend features in existing codebase
- Suggest and implement changes to back-end architecture to support monolith decomposition
- Play an important role in the improvement of development practices
