Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong Java background.
- Experience in integration work including ESBs, middleware, API platforms, event-driven systems, and service layers.
- Architectural responsibility on at least two large, multi-year, multi-system programs from discovery through production.
- Deep expertise in enterprise integration patterns and API design.
- Real-world exposure to banking or financial services sectors, including regulatory and audit constraints.
- Experience leading distributed engineering teams across time zones using Agile or hybrid models.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with the ability to represent technical design to architecture review boards.
- Technical proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift).
Responsibilities
- Design solutions for flagship engagements and serve as the primary technical lead in client architecture board reviews.
- Define and enforce engineering standards including integration patterns, API design, CI/CD, and release strategy.
- Lead technical presales by performing technical discovery, solution design, effort estimation, and contributing to RFP responses.
- Manage the technical organization by hiring, mentoring, and growing the engineering team.
- Drive technical direction beyond the current portfolio by evaluating new platforms, domains, and partnership opportunities.
