Ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed organization.
Practical experience using AI and automation in leadership workflows.
Appreciation for open-source development practices.
Experience with React or TypeScript (Bonus).
Experience leading developer platform teams or support for plugins (Bonus).
Experience with navigation, search, or information architecture products (Bonus).
Experience delivering multitenant SaaS or major platform migrations (Bonus).

Accountable for the performance, hiring, and planning of two distributed engineering squads.
Lead discovery with squads to engage customers and shape roadmaps based on research and usage data.
Partner with product and design leadership to set priorities and resolve cross-team dependencies.
Own delivery from discovery through rollout and measurement, setting milestones and managing risks.
Adopt and lead the use of AI and automation to streamline engineering, decision-making, and operational workflows.
Set engineering direction for frontend foundations including developer experience, accessibility, and reliability.
Uphold engineering standards for quality, security, and operability.
Participate in the engineering management on-call rota.
