Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Procurement Engineer, Supply Engineer, or similar engineering procurement role on the US market.
- Previous people management or team leadership experience.
- Experience working with international suppliers across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
- Experience with procurement, sourcing, and import/export of engineering or production materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF tools.
- Experience with task management systems such as ClickUp.
- Fluent English is a must.
- Fluent Russian is a plus.
- Confident and proactive leadership skills with a high level of ownership.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Supply Engineers through task prioritization and performance feedback.
- Launch production by coordinating glass orders and ensuring the availability of required hardware and materials.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
- Review technical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate material lists and verify quality requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve logistics or quality issues to ensure project timelines.
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, and Engineering teams to support material substitutions and procurement planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement workflows and report operational updates to the CTO.
