Requirements

  • Four-year college degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least one year of customer support experience.
  • Experience in a lending or mortgage environment, particularly processing or closing, is strongly preferred.
  • At least one year of title-related real estate experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely title clearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to navigate internal CRM systems or databases.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent English fluency and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent oral and written command of English and Spanish.
  • Must have a personal computer or laptop; the company does not supply equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Analysts reviewing commercial and residential property reports from title vendors.
  • Ensure title issues are resolved in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Production, Processing, Closing, Underwriting, and Asset Resolution to resolve title-related issues and maintain workflow.
  • Oversee the Title pipeline, meet Service Level Agreements, track title clearance progress, and address bottlenecks.
  • Identify and resolve secured liens, judgments, unclear ownership, and other title issues that could delay loan closings.
  • Prepare necessary affidavits and request payoffs to clear liens or other property encumbrances.
  • Validate that title documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with legal standards.
  • Work with the Processing department to obtain documentation needed to meet conditions or clear title for loan approval.
  • Perform other projects and duties assigned to support title operations and team efficiency.
