Clear, concise written communication skills.
Experience working effectively in a remote, globally distributed organization.
Appreciation for open-source development and Cloud-first delivery.
Practical experience using AI and automation in leadership workflows.
Experience with React or TypeScript (Bonus).
Experience leading a developer platform team (Bonus).
Experience with navigation, search, or information architecture products (Bonus).
Experience delivering multitenant SaaS or platform migrations (Bonus).

Accountable for the performance of two distributed engineering squads by setting expectations, coaching, and providing feedback.
Own hiring and team planning while aligning capacity with product priorities.
Lead discovery by engaging with customers and community members to shape roadmaps.
Partner with Product, Design, and leadership to set priorities and resolve dependencies.
Own delivery from discovery through rollout and measurement.
Use AI to synthesize feedback and inform resourcing decisions.
Lead the adoption of AI and automation to increase engineering productivity.
Set engineering direction for frontend foundations including developer experience, accessibility, and reliability.
Set engineering standards for quality, security, and operability.
Participate in the management on-call rota and drive improvements to reduce disruption.
