Requirements
- 3–5 years of production backend experience using TypeScript or Golang.
- Hands-on payments experience working on billing, subscriptions, or checkout systems.
- Proven experience with Payment Service Provider (PSP) integrations like Stripe, Adyen, PagSeguro, or Pix.
- Fluency in Postgres.
- Experience with event-driven systems and asynchronous processing.
- Proficiency in AI-assisted development.
- Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
- Availability to work during US business hours.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain subscription, renewal, and credit logic in a TypeScript service.
- Own webhook reliability and payment-event correctness end to end.
- Work with payment processor and orchestration APIs including auth/capture, refunds, and retries.
- Write automated tests for complex edge cases like partial credits and multi-cycle renewals.
- Perform occasional light React work where backend APIs interface with checkout screens.
