Requirements
- Deep, hands-on experience with AWS or comparable cloud providers.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with CI/CD and observability platforms.
- Strong security engineering skills, including implementation of least privilege and auditability.
- Experience with enterprise IT, including certifications and customer security reviews.
- Experience with identity and device management.
- High agency in ambiguous environments and ability to ship complex plans.
- Pragmatic judgment regarding system hardening and simplification.
- Curiosity about AI and its impact on software development and operations.
Responsibilities
- Own and harden platform infrastructure including AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability and incident response.
- Implement security as a default feature with focus on least privilege, secrets management, and tenant isolation.
- Automate SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance controls and evidence collection.
- Develop self-service systems for operational tasks, such as preview environments and internal access.
- Facilitate the secure execution of AI agents in engineering environments using sandboxes and guardrails.
- Manage incident response processes and perform post-incident system improvements.
