Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 4 years of experience, or 6+ years of relevant security experience.
- Proficiency in reading and writing code to fix vulnerabilities directly in application repositories.
- Deep AWS security experience including IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, KMS, VPC controls, and serverless security.
- Hands-on experience in detection engineering and tuning rules within a SIEM.
- Practical incident response experience in cloud environments (investigation, containment, and RCA).
- Understanding of application security fundamentals including OWASP Top 10 and CI/CD security.
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code security.
- Strong written communication and diplomacy skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Find and fix vulnerabilities across the application stack by writing and shipping code changes.
- Build and tune security detections in Datadog Cloud SIEM, managing coverage and reducing false positives.
- Respond to security incidents, including investigation, containment, and incident write-ups.
- Harden AWS environments including IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, KMS, and Secrets Manager.
- Secure delivery pipelines by managing code scanning, container scanning, and CI/CD security integration.
- Automate repetitive security triage and remediation workflows.
- Develop internal security documentation, standards, and runbooks to support compliance obligations.
