Requirements
- 6+ years of backend QA engineering experience.
- Proven experience with full-cycle testing from design and script development to execution.
- Strong experience with UNIX/Linux.
- Scripting proficiency in Java, Python, Bash, or PHP.
- Experience testing backend services including APIs, databases, and distributed (non-monolithic) systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to identifying root causes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare integration test scenarios for unreleased features and changes.
- Conduct hands-on investigation and confirmation of test scenarios.
- Develop scripted Python tests for integration test scenarios.
- Identify and prioritize deficiencies in existing integration test scripts and implement improvements.
- Maintain integration test environment and test artifacts.
- Enhance existing integration framework to support improved automation and reporting.
- Develop scripting tools to properly run test cases for RESTful APIs.
