Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school preferred; non-JD candidates with substantial transactional experience will be considered.
- Minimum 1–2 years of legal experience in M&A, corporate transactions, real estate, or a closely related area.
- Strong working knowledge of transactional concepts including deal structure, due diligence, and contract negotiation.
- Genuine interest in legal technology and AI with the ability to articulate informed opinions on the space.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Comfort with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or Lexis.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across teams.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an active contributor to the firm’s AI-first technology strategy.
- Assess AI and technology solutions through a transactional lens, with specific attention to M&A and real estate workflows.
- Conduct structured evaluations of new tools: testing functionality, assessing output quality, and producing written assessments.
- Design and deliver training programs that enable attorneys to use new technology effectively.
- Develop supporting materials for technology implementations, including reference guides and workflow documentation.
- Gather and synthesize attorney feedback on tool performance and usability.
- Participate in tool implementation projects from evaluation through rollout.
