Requirements

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school preferred; non-JD candidates with substantial transactional experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of legal experience in M&A, corporate transactions, real estate, or a closely related area.
  • Strong working knowledge of transactional concepts including deal structure, due diligence, and contract negotiation.
  • Genuine interest in legal technology and AI with the ability to articulate informed opinions on the space.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Comfort with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or Lexis.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across teams.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an active contributor to the firm’s AI-first technology strategy.
  • Assess AI and technology solutions through a transactional lens, with specific attention to M&A and real estate workflows.
  • Conduct structured evaluations of new tools: testing functionality, assessing output quality, and producing written assessments.
  • Design and deliver training programs that enable attorneys to use new technology effectively.
  • Develop supporting materials for technology implementations, including reference guides and workflow documentation.
  • Gather and synthesize attorney feedback on tool performance and usability.
  • Participate in tool implementation projects from evaluation through rollout.
