Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or public accounting, with meaningful experience supporting healthcare transactions.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare financial mechanics, including payor mix, reimbursement models, revenue cycle dynamics, managed care contracting, provider compensation, and related cost structures.
  • Hands-on experience performing quality of earnings analyses, net working capital assessments, debt-like item identification, and other financial diligence procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an active CPA license or progress toward CPA certification is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to produce accurate, structured, and review-ready financial workpapers.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, logical, and concise report sections.
  • Demonstrated ability to delegate work effectively, establish clear expectations, review deliverables rigorously, and provide actionable feedback.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to identify issues early, manage competing priorities, and maintain momentum during live transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead healthcare-focused financial analysis across transaction advisory engagements, including quality of earnings, net working capital, debt-like items, revenue trends, and other financial diligence analyses.
  • Evaluate healthcare-specific financial drivers such as payor mix, reimbursement structures, revenue cycle performance, managed care arrangements, provider compensation, and cost structures.
  • Direct the day-to-day activities of Senior Associates and Associates by assigning work, reviewing deliverables, setting quality expectations, and keeping engagements on schedule.
  • Draft sections of financial due diligence reports under Director guidance, translating analytical findings into clear, well-supported conclusions.
  • Develop Senior Associates and Associates through hands-on coaching, substantive feedback, and guidance on healthcare-specific analytical approaches.
