Requirements
- Completed bachelor's degree in Administration, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Professional experience in credit risk analysis, credit modeling, credit strategy, or a related area.
- Knowledge of credit risk indicators, delinquency, portfolio performance, and customer behavior.
- Intermediate Excel skills and the ability to work effectively with analytical spreadsheets and data.
- Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large and complex datasets.
- Ability to identify patterns, trends, inconsistencies, and risk factors and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Structured and detail-oriented approach to analytical work, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with business, analytics, and technology stakeholders.
- A data-driven mindset, curiosity, and willingness to investigate problems and challenge assumptions using evidence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the evolution of credit risk indicators across portfolios and products, identifying trends, deviations, emerging risks, and mitigation opportunities.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess portfolio quality and provide insights that support business and risk-related decisions.
- Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards, and analytical studies focused on credit performance and risk exposure.
- Support the development, validation, and monitoring of statistical models and credit risk assessment criteria.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of credit policies, decision engines, approval rules, and broader credit risk management strategies.
- Develop segmentation, concentration, customer behavior, and forward-looking scenario analyses to support strategic decisions.
- Participate in the review and continuous improvement of credit risk policies, processes, and internal guidelines.
- Contribute to strategic projects through technical analysis, business requirements, testing, validation, and implementation activities.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders and decision-makers.
