Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or analytics engineering.
- Deep proficiency in SQL and strong working knowledge of Python, R, or a comparable analytical programming language.
- Advanced understanding of statistical measurement, experimentation, data modeling, and segmentation.
- Experience designing event schemas, product funnels, and self-service reporting using tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Looker, or Tableau.
- Demonstrated track record of setting direction and leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to combine large, complex, and imperfect datasets into commercially valuable products.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with privacy considerations like GDPR and CCPA.
- Advantageous: Knowledge of compensation, pay equity, or labor-market data.
Responsibilities
- Own measurement strategies for core product workflows, including defining success criteria and analytical frameworks.
- Partner with Engineering to design and validate event instrumentation for feature tracking.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on feature adoption, engagement, and customer outcomes.
- Build and maintain production-grade dashboards and self-service reporting using tools like Mixpanel and BigQuery.
- Lead analytical strategies for new compensation and workforce data products.
- Develop analytical diagnostics for compensation governance and policy-versus-practice gaps.
- Evaluate data products for analytical defensibility, commercial value, and privacy preservation.
- Provide technical guidance to other practitioners and drive data literacy across the organization.
