Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- 3+ years of cybersecurity or network security experience.
- Strong knowledge of network segmentation, firewall policy design, and vulnerability remediation.
- Expertise in routing and switching technologies (Cisco, Aruba, or Juniper).
- Experience with SD-WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and wireless networking.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, or Fortinet).
- Familiarity with Network Access Control (NAC), IDS/IPS, and zero-trust principles.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7).
- Proficiency in automation tools: Ansible, Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, and Git.
Responsibilities
- Lead vulnerability management activities across routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and cloud platforms.
- Analyze and prioritize remediation of security vulnerabilities using platforms like Qualys.
- Design and maintain network security automation using Python, Ansible, and PowerShell.
- Implement and maintain secure network segmentation and zero-trust architectures.
- Define firewall zoning strategies and security baselines.
- Support firewall management, IDS/IPS, and network access control initiatives.
- Integrate security tools and platforms through APIs and automated workflows.
