Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in construction, design, or project management.
- Proven track record delivering complex projects valued between $5 million and $50 million+.
- Demonstrated experience with project budgeting and cost control.
- Strong proficiency in scheduling and resource management.
- Hands-on experience with estimating and construction methods.
- Proficiency with project management technology tools.
- Ability to travel as needed for project delivery.
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) (Preferred).
- Master’s Degree in Construction Management (Preferred).
- AACE estimating certification (Preferred).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with directors on proposal development, conceptual estimates, and client presentations.
- Manage design reviews, constructability insights, and monitor design progress.
- Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates, cost codes, and project budgets.
- Oversee procurement including bid packages, subcontractor qualification, and contract awards.
- Establish project organization, staffing plans, and integrated construction schedules.
- Direct site meetings, ensure permit compliance, and oversee execution timelines.
- Manage financial performance including invoicing, collections, change orders, and vendor payments.
- Monitor safety and quality standards and address performance issues.
- Mentor construction personnel and support their professional growth.
- Lead project close-out activities and manage warranty work.
