Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience sourcing from and negotiating with China-based suppliers.
- Working knowledge of customs procedures, import/export compliance, tariffs, and shipping regulations for the US.
- Experience using ERP platforms, procurement software, or inventory management tools.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and record keeping.
- Strong analytical and inventory forecasting abilities with experience managing reorder points.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills balancing cost, quality, lead time, and supplier reliability.
- Ability to work US-aligned hours and collaborate effectively across international time zones.
- Attention to detail in managing procurement records, invoices, and compliance documentation.
Responsibilities
- Source computer parts, hardware components, and warehouse supplies identifying cost-effective suppliers primarily in China.
- Manage vendor relationships including negotiations, issue resolution, and performance tracking.
- Execute the full procurement lifecycle including RFQs, purchasing, logistics, customs clearance, and payment reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels and establish reorder points to optimize stock management and prevent stockouts.
- Ensure global compliance with export documentation, tariffs, and shipping regulations for US-bound goods.
- Collaborate with US-based teams and stakeholders to align procurement with customer demand and business timelines.
