Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Sales and Marketing, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in quotation development, pricing, or commercial analysis.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including basic math and algebra.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Comfort working with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is an advantage).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to work in a seated office environment and lift approximately 25–30 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotations across business units such as HIP, heat treatment, and surface technology.
- Develop pricing using disciplined mathematical models that incorporate costing standards and margin expectations.
- Maintain accurate quotation tracking and commercial data in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to develop appropriate pricing for plant processes.
- Develop commercial metrics and prepare reporting for management.
- Create and deploy commercial reporting, forecasting, and tracking tools.
- Resolve commercial issues by working with customers, quality, order entry, and billing departments.
