Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience, including full-cycle close.
  • Experience working with multiple legal entities and organizational structures.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
  • Practical understanding of U.S. taxation, corporate structures, and auditing.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe, DocuSign, and Windows.
  • Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and analyzing financial variances.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work EMEA business hours, including 2:00 PM–11:00 PM shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of daily financial transactions and the general ledger.
  • Prepare and support monthly financial reports, financial statements, operating metrics, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice processing and payments.
  • Monitor debt-related payments to ensure obligations are met.
  • Maintain accounting operations, controls, policies, and procedures across multiple legal entities.
  • Analyze budget-to-actual variances and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Support state sales and use tax reporting.
  • Coordinate the preparation and compilation of year-end financial information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
