Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a comparable architecture role, with a strong software development background.
- At least 10 years of experience across multiple security disciplines, including security architecture, threat modeling, identity and authentication, software development, cryptography, penetration testing, cloud security, mobile security, or network security.
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, engineering best practices, and secure system design.
- Advanced understanding of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud and their security capabilities.
- Experience integrating security into CI/CD environments and secure delivery workflows, including tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, such as Java, .NET, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with microservices architecture and modern cloud-based application environments.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Azure Cybersecurity Expert, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, business analysts, architects, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and develop end-to-end architectures for complex software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Develop architectural frameworks and approaches that strengthen and secure solution design and development processes.
- Create architectural blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and documentation to clearly communicate solution designs to technical and business stakeholders.
- Integrate security principles into software development and CI/CD processes to enable secure and efficient delivery models.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk analysis, and security assessments, documenting risks and defining appropriate mitigating controls.
- Apply security architecture principles across identity and authentication, cryptography, application security, network security, cloud security, and related domains.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical direction to ensure solutions adhere to established architectural and security standards.
