Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and operations.
- Minimum 3 years in a people-leadership role.
- Proven experience managing enterprise Windows Server, VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, NSX, HCX), and Nutanix (Prism Central, AHV) environments.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise server hardware, storage, networking, and data center operations.
- Practical experience with PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale platform migrations and modernization programs.
- Understanding of risk, security, compliance, and operational governance in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments is preferred.
- ITIL, VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft, or cloud certifications are preferred.
- Ability to support critical activities outside standard business hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure engineering teams to foster accountability and high engineering standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end engineering, administration, and support of enterprise Windows Server, VMware, Nutanix, and physical server environments.
- Lead infrastructure modernization, virtualization, migration, and cloud-transformation initiatives across Azure and AWS.
- Drive standardization and self-service capabilities through infrastructure-as-code and automation using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Manage incident, problem, and change processes, acting as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with security, architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure compliance, capacity, and resilience.
