Requirements
- Approved by the board as an LMSW.
- Must be seeking independent licensure (LCSW) and living in New Mexico.
- Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
- Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of weekly availability.
- Proficiency in modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools.
- Ability to work independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM-5.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based, compassionate care to clients through telehealth sessions.
- Treat a variety of clients including children and couples as a behavioral health generalist.
- Conduct intakes and diagnose according to current DSM-5 standards.
- Maintain a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of weekly availability.
- Utilize modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools, for clinical work.
