Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Proven track record working with Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
- Extensive experience in ETL/ELT development and data pipeline orchestration (e.g., DLT, Airflow, ADF, Glue).
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep).
- Hands-on experience integrating Databricks with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Proven history in consulting or a product company background with a strong consulting mindset.
- Experience delivering projects like Data Lakehouse buildouts and cloud data migrations.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver complex data engineering, ML, MLOps, and cloud migration projects for diverse clients.
- Manage customer relationships independently or alongside a Project Manager.
- Design and implement data architectures from scratch.
- Support the pre-sales process and contribute to organizational growth.
- Mentor junior data engineers and participate in the hiring process for new talent.
- Explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders to drive decision-making.
