Requirements
- Proven experience in site contracting within the CRO or pharmaceutical industry.
- Expertise in negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) at a study level.
- Strong understanding of investigator grant budgets and fair market value principles.
- Ability to serve as a subject matter expert for global site contracting issues.
- Experience in risk management and mitigation within site start-up processes.
- Proficiency in managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships, including legal and finance.
- Experience in training and mentoring staff on departmental SOPs and tools.
- Capability to lead process improvement initiatives and manage escalation pathways.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Oversee negotiations of clinical study agreements (CTAs) and drive document finalization and execution.
- Manage escalation of out-of-parameter queries regarding budgetary and contractual requests.
- Plan contract execution strategies and forecast site-specific contractual execution timelines.
- Advise study team and sponsor stakeholders on industry trends, risks, and mitigation tactics.
- Coordinate communications between study team stakeholders and the global team of site contract and budget negotiators.
- Prepare site contractual templates and negotiate fair market value of investigator budgets.
- Train and mentor less experienced staff on SOPs, processes, tools, and templates.
- Identify and resolve operational risks related to site contracts and budget processes.
